March – Sports Performance Training
Speed, Agility & Strength Training Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday 5-6 pm
This class is designed to teach overall athleticism to improve running speed, jumping ability, hand-eye coordination and strength. Wednesday class will emphasize running form technique and correction. We have only 6 sessions available in March. Class size is limited to first 10 that register. Cost is $90 for the 6 sessions if paid at the beginning of the month or a $20 drop in fee if there is space available. Little Kids Sports and Games. Mondays 5 – 6pm
This class is for 6 to 9 year olds who may be too young for the speed and agility class but still want to develop fundamental athleticism. The ages of 6 to 13 are the most important ages to develop coordination. Many times concentration or physical development prevents younger athlete’s participation in the older classes. In order not to lose out on this important developmental time period, we have created a class for the younger athletes that put most of the training and physical development into fun game format. The young athletes look at it as play instead of work. This class is available the last three Mondays in March. Cost is $45for the three classes if paid at the beginning of the month. Morning Workout Class for Adults – This class is held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning 8:30-10. Looking for private training in a group setting? Strength and cardio workouts are tailored around each individual’s needs to accommodate fitness levels, previous injuries or health concerns. For more information contact Lori at 630-244-1965 or email lori.schutt@comcast.net to register for this class. Cost is $10 per class or $60 for the month. Private training sessions can be scheduled as well.
Private training – Private training is available for any sport regarding speed and strength and getting ready for that sport. For sports such as basketball and track, technique and skill training for those sports is available as well. Cost of private training is $60 per one hour session. Times are set up according to individuals schedule.
Small group training – Small groups of athletes who are interested in training for the same sport are welcome to train in a small group private session. Times determined by availability. Cost is $30 for two, $20 for 3, $15 per 4 athletes. If 10 or more athletes from a team or same sports schedules, then the cost drops to $10 per athlete. E-mail drjeffschutt@comcast.net to schedule.
Sport Chiropractic Care – Dr. Schutt gets a lot of inquiries on whether he still practices chiropractic care and the answer is yes he does. Although semi-retired from the clinic, Dr. Schutt still sees chiropractic patients during the morning hours and whenever the afternoon and evenings allow. He charges $40 cash or check and works out of his house. To schedule an appointment just text him at 630-728-1963.
Old Man Half Court Basketball – Join Dr. Schutt and his friends for half-court basketball Saturday Mornings from 8am to 9:30am. This is reserved for the older crowd who still wants to play basketball but running the full court may not be ideal for the joints yet. Friendly games of call your own fouls and good camaraderie are the goal for those of us over the hill who still love to play. Text Dr. Schutt at 630-728-1963. Cost is $5 to help pay the $50 court rental fee. Must have the waiver forms below filled out before playing.
